AppGameKit Classic Chat / [Tier 1]AdMob banner dont show up

Hello,

Im using AppGameKit Tier 1 v 108.24 and using this code:


My question is:
Should i see the banner after compiling in windows?
or should i build an apk (Android)?
If so can i use the "One click deploy to Android (web version)" or build it with eclipse...
I made my AdMob and Google Play Dev Console Account yesterday, so maybe i have to wait ?

The banners dont show up in windows. If you transmit to ypur device using the agk player you should see it.

I believe the online APK maker will work. If not I'm pretty sure automayte(?) will. You should be able to confirm because you'll see impressions in the AdMob dashboard in your account.
However, beware that you should also add your device as a test device. I'm not sure if with the new AppGameKit you have to do it in the java code or if you can actually do it in the AdMob website. You'll need to Google up on that, I just wanted you to beware because they will shut you down if you do a lot of impressions to an unregistered app or do more than a couple taps on the ads.

It don't show if i build it with the web version.
And i don't have any impressions in AdMob.

Ill try automate later, and add my phone as a test device.

Even with Automate they dont show up.
And i don't know how to add my phone as a test device...
Seemed that you have to add an id to your build.
Then i wonder what
does?
With that code, I get a clear white banner which does nothing.

This is probably because the version of the Admob SDK that Automayte and the web builder use are outdated and deprecated by Google. It should work if you use my AppGameKit mod (and optionally if you want to my mod will allow you to use full screen ads). You can get my mod from here: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=211806&b=41 It includes a modified version of Automayte for easy APK building.

Thank you Hockeykid,

Your Mod worked incredible and was extremly easy to install and setup great work.
I hoped to get it to work without external manipolation but seems to be the only/easiest way to do it.
