Please help!
People have posted about this problem and there has not been a solution.
If anyone resolves the issue- they do not post their solution.
V 1.2.002

I receive the error trying to load any "character" entity.
EVERYTHING else works fine- segments, shaders, dynamic and static entities.
Load any character from any pack that I own and error.
Previous maps that I have built- including from the past few months with no alterations to build version, load fine and run fine. I can build game with entities and run them fine.
If I try to load a new entity into map editor it crashes.
MUST have solution please please help.

Problem true for WW2 characters, modern day, zombie, rolfy demon, viking pack, etc.
2 Days to final beta and everything was ready to go until needing to add new character and ran into this nightmare!

Does it work if you take the last character out?

Have you tried just that character on a new map and see if it crashes there?

What operating system are you running.

Hi there,
resolved.
Yes, I had tried every combination of loading character and maps.
I think that somehow FPSC had not been recognizing mapeditor update, bc at some point it just started working again. I hadn't made changes and I always clear temp after lots of builds.
I wish I could give definitive solution in case someone else runs into it- as it has been posted in the past without solutions.
Now I am fine with characters but having an error during build using zeta mod though all files are present in correct location
Hopefully will find resolution there as well!

Glad it fixed itself. Don't know about Zeta mod, as I don't have it.
