Hey there,

I'm a bit late to the party, just have backed AGK2 but still can't see some kind of a roadmap, complete feature list (beside the dev log)...

For now I just would like to know (I'm mainly interested in mobile platforms):

1) Does AGK2 support In App Purchases?
2) Can I use Ads (like Admob)
3) Is Windows Phone 8 supported, if not, are there plans to do?
4) Does it support Facebook?
5) Does it support Gamecenter for iOS?
6) Does it support Google Play Services for (at least) Android?

With "does it support" I mean if it's supported in the base version without any user plugins.

Thanks and sorry if those questions have been answered somewhere.

Cheers!

V2 does not currently support GPlay Services, however, Hockeykid made a mod for AppGameKit V1 that let's you use it. I used it for my latest game, Dodge those Balls, and it works great.

Thanks for the answers even though they seem to be a bit vague. I will just dig into it.

EDIT: Will I be able to use C++ together with AGK2?

Another question: Is there some kind of a strict mode where I'm forced to declare variables?

Only if you code in Tier2. Tier1 is a complete closed package right now. You get what is there and hopefully it is enough. For me it is.

The new IDE forces you to declare variables at least implicitly (V2).

You can use "#option_explicit" anywhere in your code to turn on forced declaration of variables. I'll add it to the help files.

Thanks for that! How about the APK size? I've seen an empty project takes about 7MB?

And MODS come on, I'm not a new member anymore. That "As a new member your post will NOT appear until we approve it" is really annoying...

The mods have no ability to fix this. There is a magic formula in the forum software that decides when you are no longer on moderation.
