Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to use DarkBasic (Original) to create a 3D animation and then export it into a movie file (.mpg, .avi, etc.)

if so, how?

Thanks

There isn't any commands tha ti know of that you could use to do that.

But, what you can do is get a screen capture program from the net, that captures all screen activity into a file (ussually avi).

Hope I Helped...

It is also possible to make your program save a progressive screen capture of the events at hand then using another program to import this large series of files and make an animation. This process is used in television animation all the time using targa files. The 3d guy gives the composition guy a huge amount of still frames and the compositor makes it into a movie via programs like after effects etc..

I wondered the same thing. Here's a link to some that I found.
I hope to download the free demos and try them out to see which one
will work. If you have any suggestions, I'd like to hear them too.
