doing a test map my donkey shows just fine if you are looking down, but looking straight on it disappears. what did i do wrong?

That is strange? Can you get some kind of screen shot while looking down? I sometimes have to "flip" all faces on a model to get a texture to show. Kind of like it's inside-out.

My games never have bugs. They just develop random features..

OK look down and you see the Donkey, look UP and it disappears.

yes screen shot included with my new RKF model

Here is the sequence.. used GMAX, DELD CE, ModelConverterX, animates with ModelConverterX embedded the images into the X file then used a existing FPE file minigunturret. to try and use the animation to run the Donkey down mine tracks so to damage player if they did not get out of the way.

SO to try and fix the model I went to my standby FPSC_Toolbox and made a Enitity I wanted to use the character tool that is there but from the day I purchased FPSC_Toolbox no matter what I did, If I click on Character it crashes.. and that is the reason I bought it..

can't find a darn thing on FPSC_Toolbox to fix the Character crash,, tried mender4 which added animations but the animator tool I guess doesn't like directx..

Getting really depressed now,, so just want the donkey model to be visible.

Do you think these models are something people would like? I have more most kinda animated.

It was FPSC_Toolbox to the rescue, I played around with the entity settings and have a working model that stays visible.

Static only atm but thats ok I can work with it later

Glad you got it working
I too am a fan of GMax for some time now. Still use it frequently
for simple objects. As for "FPSC_Toolbox" I have the same problem
with the "Character tool". I mainly use it for weapon's.
