so im guessing its yes cause i was reading arounf on the site and i read up on the cortagrahy shop and i though u had to buy a db/dbpro and the cortagrahy shop also to start off...

you don't have to order the cartography shop in order to make a 3d game under darkbasic. The DarkBasic Classic/Pro already handles that once you learn the commands!

Darkbasic was (i assume) especially to make 3D games, and make it easy

Really depends on your point of view on a 3D Engine.

If you say that a 3D Engine is a bunch of code that creates and displays 3D objects, then yeah, DB is a 3D Engine.

If you say a 3D Engine is a way of managing you're 3D Objects that you have made (ie positioning them etc) then, no, DB is not a 3D Engine, but provides the tools to make one (you have to code it all of course, like Position Object obj,x,y,z)
