I am wondering if anyone knows any programs out there that would lightmap an object like a gun well, give it lighter edges and shading, as if it were reflecting light. I have attempted it in photoshop but it just looks too fuzzy and faint to be a reflection (I'm no expert at texturing). Free would be nice but I know that most things don't come for nothing . Thanks for any help.

Do you bite your thumb at me sir?

I could try shaders once I get my new graphics card, in the meantime I've found some more tools on photoshop to give good effects so I'll cope.

@RPGamer: Yeah, Romeo and Juliet, I didn't actually refer to the script when writing that, so it may be wrong .

Sounds right to me, but then again, it's been 3 years since I studied Romeo + Juliet.

also useful, sometimes good to aply before Embos:
Filter > Blur > Gausian Blur...

There was a texture baker mentioned somewhere, but I can't remember where - If I find the link I'll let you know.
