Hi guys, sorry for the late replies but I've been busy at work again. I'm hoping that I'll be able to spend some more time on the game in the beginning of April. Also with any luck I'll have a video up by the end of next week.
Quote: "Looking really awesome. Loving the particle effects!"
Thank you

Much of the credit should really go to Evolved, though.
Quote: "I like the stars above the monsters head after being hit, more bugs bunny type cartoon effects like that would be awesome."
Yeah I totally agree! It lightens everything up and makes it more fun
Quote: "An indie gamer maker's thorn in the flesh. I am feeling this pain. But at least some money earned can go towards assets."
I hear you! Still, would be nice to be able to earn a living from making games. Seems to be something only a few lucky people get to do.
Quote: "Great looking screen shots. Evolved shaders really make it pop.
At this point we must have video clips. Are you using a physics engine?"
Thank you

I'm hoping to get a video up by the end of next week. Hope you'll check it out

I am using good old Newton for physics. Perhaps its a bit dated but it still gets the job done (sorta like DBpro, really) and I really like Newton's super fast raycasting and collission checks.
Quote: "This looks really good. Agree with Chris, need to see some video clips or, even better, a playable demo."
Thank you very much. It really means a lot. A video is on the way, but I fear that a playable demo is still quite far away :/
I just checked out Purple Complex and wow, really nice game! It felt very polished and I really enjoyed the art style. Reminded me somewhat of System Shock
