okay ive noticed everyone almost has a web site in db for a company and to show there projects/download such and such well im looking to get a web site how can i accomplish this i heard of geocities but would any one recommend a place to go cause i have no experience really with web sites ive done a little html a while back

hmm... there are lots of free servers you could try. I recomend:
www.domaindlx.com (free, 100mb, ASP)
www.miarroba.com (free, 50mb, php, mysql)
but since you don't have much experience in HTML, I suggest you try:
www.0catch (free, 100mb, POP-UPS! ARG!, free templates)

I use Vapournet for hosting. Only 20 Dollars and you can use any ol' place for a domain name. I use GKG for a Domain, its 8.95 there, but there are many others.
