Quote: "dont argue with me now its illegal to hack. I dont ean like, killing someone, i mean its more like punching someone in the face and them sueing you, that sorta thing. The thing is if someone used the IP he displayed to hack someone, and somehow the hacked person found out where the the hacker lived, and sued him, then i think the person who displayed the IP could be somehow sued..dont argue it!"

It's illegal to hack people, not to display IP addresses. You can't govern the internet because it's spread across so many different countries who all have different laws and thoughts on what's right and wrong. Oh yes, and suing someone doesn't mean they have to have broken the law, if you sue someone for displaying an IP address, it doesn't mean it's illegal, it just means something bad has happened because of it. Likewise, you can't be jailed or fined by the government or police for displaying an IP.

Actually, after the 911 insident the PATROIT act came into play in America. Hidden inside states that if you hack someones computer, deface a webpage, or build a virus you can get life in pision with no parole. Oh yeah, America, land of the free.

You've been smoking too much crack again haven't you. It certainly isn't illegal in this country.

Completely wrong. The government can do that. While frankly it isn't good, our dear old buddies at the FBI have had licence to kill, licence to search, licence to steal and licence to club you over the head for your cash for centuries. I am opposed to the patriot act but really, it's not like the government-- and no, this has nothing to do with Bush, this is under any president-- will have that power taken away from them whether it's written down as a law or not.

By the way, if that's a $300 paycheck, you're getting $285 taken out of it there (max, but you get my point)... hope you're enjoying it .
