How do you program 3D objects to put in a darkbasic game? I recently purchused darkbasic and am new to the game programming industry. I really like to program, and would graciously accept any help to make 3D darkbasic games.

You model them in a modelling program, like Milkshape 3D.

The best would be 3DSmax and all those other super-professional stuff, im sure you cannot afford them.

The cheapest is free, http://www.anim8or.com, its fast and easy, but you can only export non-animated objects, like buildings.

There are more but thats beyond me

the best and one of the cheapest is milkshape3D it's about £30 or thereabouts so its not much more expensive than a normal game. Or if you just can't be arsed to mess about with a modeling program just buy one of the darkmatters.

Anim8tor might be your best bet if you want somthing free ive only used anim8or alittle and ive only done 2 tutorials. but as you probaly know Dark Basic comes with a media browser that has 3d objects, just make sure that you add the model and the textures for the model in the folder of your game.

Which is the best: 3D Studio Max or 3D Studio Pro?
I really want to make 3D games, but I have no idea how to begin. Please give me your suggestion.

P.S. I do have a story line, though.

3DS Max it's one of best 3D program, but it's a little expensive and complicated to use...

So you can use "JTEdit" it's free and simple
http://www.jtgame.com/jtedit/jteditmain.html

but it's not 100% free for bugs
