Can ne1 out there give me working source code for loading an mp3 file, ive tried LOAD SOUND, LOAD MUSIC and it just doesn't work.

that's strange it's work fine to me...

load sound "musics\wakeup.mp3",1
play sound 1
suspend for key

".mp3" take more time to load than ".wav" even when weighs less

Make sure you have version 1.13, otherwise you may have problems...

Oh, and you say it doesn't work? well, does it give any errors or does it just not work? or does it end the program? or what? you need to give more details in your post...

You can't have 1.12 enhanced, it is one of the conditions of install that you have 1.13 b4 you can install the enhancement pack...
