Hi, just askin does anyone know if the new portal system in the next update will hide individual limbs as well as objects, so you could hide a limb behind a door and a limb behind another limb and still have it speed up?

Cheers

Hey, did this come from my suggestion in that other "What command" post? I want to know aswell, so I can make a level from limbs that is rendered quickly, but has fast collision detection since it's one object.

Do you bite your thumb at me sir?

... dunno what kind of collision system you're using, but the less poly's the less time it takes to check collision

Well I planned to have an .x terrain that was split into limbs arranged grid like, so that with lots on screen the limbs not in view would be hidden.

I plan to use intesect object, and doing that on 100 low poly objects is far far far slower than 1 high poly object.

I have come up with a solution if it doesn't work though, load 1 object for collision that is hidden, and another instance of that object split into separate objects for visual purposes.
