Sorry for posting this twice, but it is more to do with programming than art!

I have decided to make a DB program to make an explosion. So far I have this........Sorry that I forgot to put a light in my program...

As you can see..the images are not rotated. I have 49 plains positioned in a circle. What is the maths to rotate the plains to their correct angles?

I am using this animation to make the explosion!

Thanks for any help!

This is just a guess, im not sure if it will work...

A circle is 360 degrees, so

360:49=7,3469387755102040816326530612245

for every plain you paste you just rotate them 7,3469387755102040816326530612245 degrees * plain number.

Example:

Top plain = 7,3469387755102040816326530612245 * 0
bottom plain = 7,3469387755102040816326530612245 * (24 or 25)

you rotate them the same angle as the angle you used to calculate the position, IE straight up is zero degrees, rotate flame 0 degrees, right is at 90deg, flame rotated 90deg as well, straight down is 180deg, ditto, etc!, (it`s obvious when you havent been racking your brain over sine math for a hour or so )

ps: this is basicaly what Baal is saying, but without the math since you already knew the angle when you calculated the location

System spec : Pentium 3.0Ghz, 512MB DDR, 2x160Gb HD`s, DVD RW/CD RW (all modes), multimedia front panel, 6 way surround sound, ATI radeon 9800 128mb.

Yeah I noticed a simularity between the angle, but for some strange reason it was half the positional angle???

Don't ask me...
