How do I include an external file using the #include command without using a function?

in layman's terms please....

It wouldn't even make sense if you could. What order would it run the code from the other DBA files in if you didn't tell it when to call that code (via functions)?

At the place where it's included. Or at the beginning- before- the main code (like in DBpro).

i use includes alot. You can get more control if you use a gosub into the module too, but I prefer using functions.
