And you really think that will work, by spamming them to death?

Of course it could work if we spam them to death. Sometimes you have to try different sorts of things. But a proper petition might be best.

...you see, the problem is, you are expecting Lee Bamber to work on upgrading both DBC and DBPro at the same time. I'm sure his work load is bad enough just trying to keep DBPro upgraded (or should I say working )

I believe it has been already been said that there will be no further development of DB Classic. Unless Lee decides to hand over the development of Classic to someone else. Which is very very unlikely.

What's this all about? I stopped reading after you told me to. What do I get for being right in my judgement?

Raven can you use your mad skillz and rad systemz to make an update to fix the DBC bugs? Based on what I've read from you, that should be a real trivial thing for you to accomplish. Heck I'd even paypal you some bucks for it AFTER I determined that it worked.

Well i'm not an annoying person. I'm just making suggestions. But it seems like no one believes my suggestion can happen. Well that is what happens when no one believes. Im not saying that we will get a next DBC upgrade if we petition but it wont hurt to try. If we show the maker of DBC how much we care about the program and how much we like it, the maker just might make another upgrade. It doesn't hurt to try. Someone please back me up.

I don't think he means to be annoying, but rather there are a few things in DBC that are annoying him (bugs perhaps?) and wants them sorted out.

edit: Oops! Clarks got there before me

Yes he does.

DBC will NOT Have another upgrade. Give up. They have a pro version for a reason. Microsoft isnt patching Win95, they want you to buy XP!

DBC is still offered because some people dont want Pro just yet. They arent updating because they want you to buy their newest, more improved product.

Spamming will get you no where. To say the least, probably farther in a hole. There have been TONS of posts about people asking for updates, but it hasnt ever worked.

Just buy pro, and you wont have to complain about patches that arent going to be released.

Or maybe it'd just lead to be blacklisting your email address from the forums?

Stop talking about the patch. It's not going to happen. It's a matter of economics. There's more money in hiring another helper to sort out and delete all your spam while continuing development of DBP than there would be to patch DBC. Don't make them hire people to clean up after your wrecklessness.

You people are fools and a bunch of losers. With the attitude you'll have you wont be able to get anything done. I mean come on, where's the christmas spirit. The time when people are supposed to come together and do things together. You'll are making fun of me because of what i suggest. Pity on you all.
I pity the fool who makes fun of Clarks because of what he suggest.

And the reason is because you'll dont know that you'll dont know, and what you'll dont know, you'll dont want to know. Peace<

No, no, better yet, lets make a post on the Microsoft Forums about recruiting people to spam Microsoft, specifically targetting Bill Gates ( "The Maker" ), then complain when people try to be sensible... We don't need to use our time to do anything constructive, so lets be destructive...

C'mon Clarks... this is silly...

Like it's already been said, DBPro is out for a reason, because, quite frankly, DBC is old, and besides, even if Lee & Co. were to update DBC, they would be doing it along-side DBPro, which has so many problems right now that it's chewing up almost ALL of their time, hence the entire thread devoted to Bug Reports....

I don't mean to be a "fool" or one in a "bunch of loosers", I'm just trying to get you to see the cold hard facts, just like everyone else here is...

Clarks...

1. You got your official answer from Rich (note the giveaway title of "TGC Admin" next to his avatar)

2. You're on a slippery slope. My advice is to quit before you have to withdraw your troops from Palestine to deal with the situation http://www.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=14928&b=2

3. I'd change your name, in the UK you sound like a pair of shoes.

Seriously Clarks, you won't get much respect around here unless you listen to what people are telling you.

umm... what do you want fixed exactly? i haven't heard anyone complain of bugs in dbc for ages, if you tell people what you don't like they might be more keen on helping you to fix it/find someone that can fix it.

dbc does have a update it's called db pro. although you can't upgrade from dbc to db pro for free it's an entirely upgrade so it didn't seem like an upgrade or an update

I think its the other way around.

Clarks, you seem like a very annoying foolish child who doesnt know when to quit. Just my opinion.

Rich gave you an answer. TGC Admin title isnt something to mess around with.

I wouldnt be suprised if Rich puts you on block for a little while after this little stunt (you can post but no one can see your posts...hehe great )

DBPro is the update to Classic. Go buy it.

Quote: "It's a matter of economics."

Exactly! Clarks has OBVIOUSLY not taken an economics course yet Dont worry, once you take economics, this will alllll become clear. Until then.

THERE WILL BE NO FUTURE UPDATES TO DARK BASIC CLASSIC. THE UPDATE IS DARK BASIC PRO. GO BUY THAT.
