i know this has been asked before, but i cant find it.

can you have it so it starts as windowed mode and not full screen so it prevents that flickering at the startup?

you can have it go to windowed mode immediately in dbc though...
"set window on" at the top of your program, it may only be in the enhanced version though

oh i know you can do that...but it flickers, then goes to windowed

To answer your Q, you need a file in the same directory as your .exe called something like setup.ini and in it should be:
