DarkBASIC Discussion / Trial Version Install Error

i just downloaded the trial version of DarkBasic (1.13) but when I go to install it, it says "This file contains invalid data", please help me. It seems to have downloaded ok.

I have a new PC running WIN XP SP1+

Is DB Classic incompatible with win XP?

DBC is compatible with XP, so that's not your problem.

Try re-downloading it, it sounds like you have a corrupt file there.

I suggest not using any download accelerators as they can sometimes corrupt files ( although, not very often ). If downloading it again causes the same problems, try getting the Lite version, and see if that works, if it does, then there was a problem with the download of the Trial, If it doesn't, then there is a problem with you downloading files from TGC's server...

You might need to contact Rich if that is the case.

Check the file size matches exactly what is given on the download page, that error usually means "didn't fully download".
