GameCube quality? Interesting question. Perhaps you ought to think of it like this however - are YOU capable of creating GameCube quality graphics, sounds, music, animation, speech, gameplay, etc? DarkBASIC can't perform miracles. As for making games of a comparable nature to the GameCube I would err on the side of "probably not". There's a lot of nifty things GameCubes do on a hardware level that PC's don't without specific hardware which you can't rely on all users to own.

Cheers,

Rich

Dark Basic Classic is very powerfull, if used to its full potential. But, like Rich said, probably not Game Cube. Check out my game, many people said it was one of the best looking Dark Basic games out there.

However, Dark Basic Pro can do some effects that DB Classic cannot, like reflections, bump mapping, etc.. It is also faster, so you can use higher poly models, to make your games look better.

The quality of a game depends entirely on the person who makes it.
