DarkBASIC Discussion / Help With Error

I keep Geting this error when tring to run darkbasic clasic on my notbook.

Error Messege:
System Error: Surfaces could not be created.(..000.& Direct3D HAL] Failed to create a D3d Device From BackBuffer Surface

Dark Basic Pro And Blitz3d Works Flawlessly. I'm also running on DirectX9. please help

Try updating your Vid card's drivers...

It's odd that DBP works, but DBC doesn't, it's ussually the other way around for laptops.

Also, try re-installing DX9, as it sounds like there is a problem with that, but the update of Vid card drivers could fix that for you.

I Just updated my video card drivers but still nothing works i still keep getting the same error but if its my Video card shouldn't blitz3d or darkbasic pro also complain or show the same error?

Not necessarily, it really depends on what the program is asking for.

If it's not your Vid drivers, then the only other thing I can suggest is a reinstall of DX, but i can't guarentee that that'll work. Sorry.
