Nothing much, just a couple hours worth of coding. Try it.

nope, its a real reflections. I only used 4 objects(plane, sun, ship, and ocean) with no duplicates.

To prove it, try using shift and control to go up or down. Now go down the ocean. If it were 2 separate objects, the real plane would go down below sea level and its "reflection" go up. If it were real reflections, the plane would go below sea level while its reflection would simply disappear.

Nice and simple. Easy effect, that can add a lot to your game quality.

Good job.

I'll have to mess around with the relfection command myself.

a couple hours of coding simply because I had trouble in some of the code. (One about trying to get the plain textured while still being reflective, You cant simply do that because set reflection on makes the object hidden or invisible) And I should rephrase that statement to "a couple hours worth of work." because of modeling and forum browsing in-between

Hidden command because it seemed nobody uses reflections in their games. So i assumed it wasn't made known well enough.

Clever. And I don't think he should be dissed for using a simple command because, well at least hell will break loose before I can get it working properly

@dgamer5000

Clever trick as I mentioned above. Mind posting the source

Been working with the reflection command and some other commands, but can't get it to work properly.

Will try the ghosted plain as mentioned above though.

Hmmm, I didn't notice this thread is still alive, anyways, yea I made a ghosted plane above the actual mirror.

AS for the source, here you go.
