hi need help
im trying to make a space sim, with the same sorta controls as FREELANCER, where you have a mouse target, and the spaceship rotates to point at the target, how do i do this, and wud it be best to use a sprite for the target or an actual object? it will be in 3rd person

freelancer huh.....awsome game....

anyway, i would make the object rotate on its axis by rotateing it by the current angle+mousemovex() or something along those lines....try makeing the make a mouselook control, but in place of the camera, use the object....

yes sort of worked, although its very responisive, i want to change hen u push the mouse up, the ship will gradully change to point at the mouse target?
