DarkBASIC Discussion / position object to bottom of screen?

how do you position an bullets to the bottom of the screen no matter what angle, so far ive got position bullet at cam x, camy -20 and cam z, but this dont work if the camera xangle changes. im thinkin newyvalue, but cant get it to work, any ideas??

Are you talking about sprites? If so, you need to position them, then LOCK OBJECT ON

Lock object on still allows you to position and rotate objects, but when the camera moves or rotates, the object stays in the same screen position... very handy for making 3d radars and things like that

yes it works but if you position it camy-20 (bottom of screen###0 then the camera rotates on the x axis -20 now becomes the top of the screen?

well if you possition it camy-20, the camy varable will change with the rotation...so to answer your question, no it wont

no beacause when an object rotates its' position stays the same

yeah if u rotate an object it still retains its oridginal position...
