Just a quick question. Does anyone know what version of DB is for sale at amazon? Is it DBC? DBP? DBL?

Thanks

I was just there which is why I asked. They show DBP seperate so I shall assume that the main one they sell ($19 & change) is not pro. But is it the lite or standard/classic version? I didn't know if someone had been brave a purchased it from there yet.

Amazon US list both DarkBasic Classic and Dark Basic Pro.

Compusa also list the Classic Version inexpensively. Do a search on CompUSA (they are more expensive that Amazon but you get an idea of what they are actually selling.

Wasting CPU Cycles since the 286 was a hot machine.

I got my DB Classic off of EBay for $15, and that was including shipping. Kind of makes you wonder why it's $50 on this site. (all money amounts are US Dollars of course)

Purchasing from outside sources wont get you customer support from TGC, for instance your CD may get cracked on the way here *oh well*, along with many other things.

Well, I just got my DB from Amazon. It was DB Classic v 1.12 which took the v1.13 patch with no problem. It also shows that I have the enhancments (dll, multiplayer, net, etc). Was that included in 1.12?

The enhancement pack is included as a 30 day trial with the 1.13 update.

Otherwise, it's available for download and through DarkMATTER ( but you have to pay for it ).

Jess.
