the best way is to crank up a program liek windows recorder and cut the file down so the last minuet and save it as a new sound file, then u can just play it like normal

The DB HelpFile:

PLAY SOUND
This command will play the specified Sound Number. An optional parameter allows you to specify a start position in bytes that skips the initial part of the sample to be played.

SYNTAX
PLAY SOUND Sound Number
PLAY SOUND Sound Number, Start Position

So, I think you need to do this:

Sound1.wav = 3:00 minutes long, 290000 bytes:
load sound "sound1.wav",1
play sound 1,(290000/3)*2
