So you must be Reaperman's daughter?!?

You scare me, you already have a reputation for being good. If you can carry on at the pace you're going, you got a bright future ahead of you.

Hello all.

As Christina said, the virus took down her hard drive and she only had one backup on cd of the program, which unfortunately was the first 20% or so.

What she has had to do between school and homework is to basically rewrite it all again.

She wanted you to be able to see the introduction to the game, which you will find here:

http://us.f2.yahoofs.com/bc/40466acc_c84e/bc/My+Documents/eviloutionintro.exe?bfk9mRABRUMcF1nJ
It’s a self-expanding exe file so just run it and unpack it to where you want.

When she has don’t the game, which looks like it will be about mid next week, I will post a link to that too for her. Ultimately the intro and game will be in one program but as I said she wanted to know if you liked the intro and wanted feedback on how she may be able to make it better.

There are no real bugs as such with the intro. I did notice that sometimes on slow computers (2Mhz and under) that there is sometimes a slight slowdown. Also on rare occasions you may see a brief white flash. Not too sure what this is but it could be to do with the amount of things running and RAM access. So its better if you run the program from a fresh reboot in my opinion.

I have checked the exe for viruses too...just in case...and it is clean.

Reaperman.

Nice intro, I can see you have a handle on Dark Basic, Dragon. Nice work!

I wish we could have seen the rest of your work before the virus hit; I bet it would be the same quality of work. Can't wait till you finish the demo.

Yeah, for some reason those Yahoo links never work for me. You should get up a "real" website or something. Anywaysl judging from the Matrix demo,I'm sure this will be of extremely high quality.

Alright.

I have now got her a free site for all her programs. She set it up today but I have only now uploaded it.

Go here:

http://www.cybcity.com/dolphinsoft/

You can download both the matrix demo and the Evilution intro.

I am sure she will be adding the tutorials and the game soon.

Wow, wow is all I can say. That's a nice clean intro you've got there. Especially cuz I got a shout out! WOOHOO, and since it's in alphabetical order I was first! lol, anyways, good work, I sincerely do wish that I had those skills when I was your age.

Keep it up, can't wait to see more.

Oh yeah, I really like the way the two lines squeeze together at the end and the stars follow!
