I have made several weapons in milkshape, it is quite easy. First find a picture of a gun (preferably a side view) then go into milkshape and click the view button then change the viewports to 3. now go to the big viewport and left click and click choose background or something to that effect. once you have done that a box will apeare click the button with the little arrow things and it will show you a list of your files go to my pictures and find you gun picture choose that and click ok. The picture of your gun will be in the background. you can now model in relation to the photo which makes it a very easy process. Juse remember to keep extruding. I hope that helps alittle.
