At least not for the quick selection on the project settings.

My problem:
I wanted to select a display mode of 1024x768 in 32bit color. Guess what, IDE reverts it back to 1024x768 with 16bits.

Now this is funny, because my card fully supports 32bit modes and I even use 32bit in desktop.
I'm guessing the problem might be that my card, like many others, doesn't support the 24 bit mode. So perhaps a setting to choose them separatedly? (24 / 32)

Yeah, did this with me. It's something about the mode you chose-- make sure you have the display mode you wanted selected. (Full screen desktop for example) try it with all of them and see what works. There was a good reason for this that Guy told me, but I just forgot it .

...good reason?

anyway, I tried most of them. I mean the display modes. But in windowed, you cannot seem to change the bit depth. I guess it's based on your desktop bit depth. That works, on some cases. But what happens if I want a proper fullscreen? it doesn't just seem to work!
