Hello!

I might have imagined it, but i read somewhere that you can load an array from an outside document i.e. notepad txt. Is this possible? and if so how can it be done?

Cheers!

You have to first create the array in DB, then use the Save Array command ( I'm not sure, but I think it's an Enhancement command only ), Then, you just use the resulting file and the Load Array command to load the entire array into the proggy.

Hope I Helped...
Jess.

Thanks, but thats not really what i wanted. I am creating a map from images and then using an array to store the screens. What i would like to do (making it a lot simpler rather than having tons of arrays getting in the way) is create the array as i would in DB but in notepad, and load it in when i want to use it.

Thanks

You use a memblock instead, there should be a make memblock from bitmap or image command. It will save it as a .whateveryousay and you can view it in notepad, and load it back into your game.
