edit
sry, the read me file is in german so i`ll post the control here:
arrow keys = move
spacekey = shoot (normal weapon)
returnkey = shoot (special weapons)
You can test all normal weapons!
Just select one with the keys 1-9 !

Not bad. Like the scrolly starry background.

Don't like the way whole screen blanks when you are hit or you hit a wall.

There is a problem with controls you have picked. You can't go diaganally up-left and fire at the same time. Same as going down-right. I think this is a keyboard limitation.

In the finished game you lose a ship and continue from your last checkpoint.
But that feature is not finished yet.
So the screen just blinks ^^

I LOVE IT!!!

Only thing is GAMEPLAY (controlling the ship) is a bit, how should i say it, it doesn't have any 'feeling' to it.

I once tried to create a game like this but stopped developping it.
You can download a 'demo' here: http://www.dennuz666.com/darkbasic/swarm.zip
If you want the source (DBPro) or any media just mail me

F*ck it all, no regrets!!!

*just downloading your demo*

i like to compare my game with other shooters !

i will see what i can to with my gameplay!

//EDIT

I like your shooter!
Can I get the source?
Although Nightingale is coded in DBC i think i can use your smoothy control !
If i can use it, you will get your place in the credits, ok?
And one more question: Have you used a texture for your Explosion?
I need a new one :/

To be in the credits would be very COOL!!! Keep me informed.

The explosing is from an explosion generator i downloaded once, somewhere. I'll upload it to my site after i found it.

why can noone ever see that box?

Cool demo, but the shaking and flashing of the screen was really annoying. plus, how many friggin times do you gotta shoot something? Shooting things forever and sh*t dont die.
