I have a stone (brick) wall texture that I made in Photoshop Elements (the light version). The only problem is that the edges are straight on the bricks, and it looks out of place. Any idea of a good way to making the edges more jagged and weathered? Thanks.

Trying is the first step towards faliure.

I'm not a photoship user, but a blurr/smudge tool should do the job.

It depends on the colour of the gaps between the bricks. Can you select it with the magic wand? What you need to do is..select the gaps between the bricks, then invert the selection so that you just have the bricks selected. Anyway, you need to somehow select the bricks. Now you need to expand the selection by 1 pixel. Now you need a new layer. Add noise to the new layer. Now adjust the colour of the noise to match your bricks colours. Now blur the noise a little. It should look like the bricks are jagged.

yes, there is a blur smudge tool and it works quite well (I tried it myself)

When it comes to programing, I'm on fire!

Motion Blur on a new layer might also work
