i am trying to make a bit of code that moves a sprite from the bottom left to the centre of the screen but it does not work properly. here is the code i am using:

sprite 1,sprite x(1)+((screen width()/2)-sprite x(1))/100,sprite y(1)+((screen height()/2)-sprite y(1))/100,21
sync

this was the best i could do:

Sync rate 50


Box 0,0,20,20
Get Image 1,0,0,20,20
Cls

X#=0
Y#=Screen Height()
Sprite 1,X#,Y#,1
Offset Sprite 1,10,10

Xmove#=(Screen Width()/2)/200
Ymove#=(Screen Height()/2)/200

Do
if Sprite X(1)<Screen Width()/2 then X#=X#+Xmove#
if Sprite Y(1)>Screen Height()/2 then Y#=Y#-Ymove#

Sprite 1,X#,Y#,1

Sync
Loop

dunno if it helps but it basically does what you want
