i dont get it dark edit is just dark basic whithout all the decor isnt it

It's an alternative editor, most people use it as the original editor is garish to look at and not that good to use.

Trying is the first step towards faliure.

dark edit is also a windows app, so you can browse folders and make your bitmaps without having to save your code and exit back to windows when you want to do something like copy models to the project folders or make a bitmap or come to this site to ask a question or something, it makes life much easier.

@Mentor... You don't have to close DB jsut to get back to windows... just use the window's shortcut, Alt + Tab, to switch between windows, and the fullscreen app will be minimized.
