It needed to be said.

Look thru the forums and see how many times he has helped or tried
to help someone.

It dosnt stop there.
Jess has helped me on several oaccations on some things I just could not figure out on my own in Dark Basic.
I am not new to programming, just new to Dark Basic.

Jess has been a big help via emails and I would be willing to say
that I am not the only one he dedicates such time and help to.

Thank you very much Jess

Thanks Debbie

Thanks phukol

I just like to help people, it's my bit for the community.

I beleive in free source, so, if I know something, then I want to share that knowledge with others so they can learn and expand upon it.

But, I'm not the only one here... Don't forget about the others that help out too, as I can't answer every question that pop's up

Again, Thank you both for the compliment

Jess.

Haha, thanks CMC

It would be nice, but I don't think that Rich is after any more Moderators at the moment, and I don't think you are "nominated", lol.

No doubt if it was by vote that Jess would be offered a mod-ship position. He has always tried to be helpful and does a good job of not being overbearing.

I appreciate what he does for the DB Classic forums and I don't know nuttin.

Cheers for Jess and a ticker tape parade <just use your imagination cause it is to far to throw it....>

I'm glad that others took the time to say thanks to Jess for all
that he does. I hope this backing will encourage him to continue
his outstanding contribution to the experienced and beginner programmers.

There is not one programmer who will know everything so if there are times someone cant help you on a specific issue it's simply
that they have not had need yet to look into such an issue.

I have seen very talented programmers, one who even has two top rated in genere games/simulations recently (here i do mean TOP RATED)

There was one small problem for him but it was easy to me because it was one thing which I have looked at probably 200 times and in various ways or uses. He thought I am a geniuous and my ego inflated like a zepplin hehe ... really tho, I would never even think to match programming witt with this guy.

Anyhow, again..thank you Jess and yes, thank you to all the others who contribute or at least try to help.
I did not mean to seem as if overlooking anyone, Jess just happened to stand out to me because I have communicated with him on several occations, most times he could help and put it in such a way I was like duhhhh why didnt I think of that.

Trust when I say I am NOT done with him yet hehe
So far he has had only simple test.
Mabe this buttered him up for the toasting ?

Thank you everybody for helping to spread the butter.
LOL

Thanks Axelman...

Thanks DBoy780, It'd be great to be a mod, sure, but, alas, it isn't a vote

And Debbie...

Is this where we cue the deep, threatening music? lol, jk.

Quote: "he could help and put it in such a way I was like duhhhh why didnt I think of that."

Yeah, I do that for my self ( beleive it or not ). Mainly when I code something, and comment it, then come back to it a bit later when I think "Hmm, how can I do that?" and look over my code and then think, "Haha, I feel stupid" lol.

Quote: "There is not one programmer who will know everything"

That is too true

Thanks again Everyone... And I'd like to thank my personal trainer, and my costume designer, and... and... I'd like to thank God, and my family... lmao, jk

Yay for Jess and those who take the time to show there appreciation! - stuff like this is what the DB community is all about.

Rich might want to take on some more moderators once he starts making his forum improvements, Jess should certainly be on the list of candidates.
