ive made this map, and exported it as a .x file. but the computer is interpriting it as a solid box meaning i carnt have collisions inside the map. is there any way for me to have collisions only with polygons in the mdel, adn not the blink spaces.

Take a look at our collision DLL (link below) it's designed to handle polygon collision for X files and other DB objects very quickly and accurately.

You can also find the program announcement at:

nuclear glory, no offense but I think you're better off asking the admin to put up a big ad on the top of the site saying, "Nuclear Glory's collision DLL! Click here!" or something. I have a feeling that you scout just about every thread in the forum looking for the word collision. It's just, annoying but very hilarious at the same time because most of your posts look like ads, not that people don't like your DLL. I just find it funny All in fun!

I certainly wouldn't want to be annoying...

So... do you have a good collision system r_kabouter? Ya know, you should really check it out if you haven't already. It's very useful.

Even better than a thread for ads, pay some people to just look around and post stuff like "Try Nuclear Glory's collision DLL. Now easy, fast, accurate, and professional looking collision methods are at your disposal!"

Hey, you got it to work with DBC, finally! I'd like to use it, but I'd rather literally crack my head making my own collision stuff. I'm not saying I'm l337 enough to come up with one of those things, but I've got to learn somehow, right? Besides, it won't be forever that I'm gonna be using DB. DB at the moment is pseudo-code for me until I think I have enough time to get into C++ (damn school projects), but hey, it's an executable pseudo code!

Sorry though, I don't mean any harm. I know your DLL is _the_ collision dll at the moment, but I can't just go out and program on my own, not knowing what raycasting means. l337ness isn't something you buy off a shelf, it's what you sell off the shelf, right? That's what you are now, and that's what many of us kids also hope to be like someday.

Anyway, back to my English project!

There's a free 1.5 version for DBC available from our website. It's way shorter than the current release, but it's also free.
