My 2d level editor is finish and ready for anyone to used
i hope someone can fine it useful.


example:

menu>> tile is:
pick up
ladder
platform
spike


you can change the menu at runtime and add your own
words or replace others

you can export the map as bitmap to use as backdrop or snapshot
look there is a lot you can do give it a go and see

hi I'm a noob how exactly do you use these levels in your games and what extension do you save complete levels as?

there is a folder call example look in it to see how to load your map in your game

just go to file menu click save as type the name of your file
then load it back in your game using the example

Does it save an array? I couldn't find the array file. I found a file with a .map extension but Notepad couldn't read it properly, so I was a bit confused.

I'm really confused by the example I dont understand I tried running the program nothing happened but errors and when I removed them it just did nothing could some one send me a comented example complete with a map and character for me to learn from then would be really appreciated plus it said that the texture backdrop command was onsolete. whats with that?
