what commands do i use to make simple programs run on low-end machines because at the moment a hello world program wont even run on my worst computer.

even hello world NEEDS dx9.0 and 3D acceleration, DB is a games language, even if you just want to clear the screen you have to meet the minimum specification for Pro, it doesn`t matter if every other compiler under the sun will do CLS or it`s equivalent from dos or whatever, Pro NEEDS dx9.0 and the minimum specs to just clear the screen, otherwise you get zilch, so if your worst machine is below system requirements then it won`t run the EXE, theres not a lot you can do to make it run either, the first thing a DB EXE does is check it`s on a machine that has what it wants, even classic, which had a software render mode, would not run an exe if the machine didn`t have 3D acceleration, even if you wrote the whole thing to use software rendering, sorry.
