ok, i make an animation in Milkshape using DXF files exported from DoGA L3... I then load em all up seperatly and save each one, then I make a new one and Merge all the files together. I then add joints together and assign them to each limb. I then animate using keyframes....But heres the pickle...

for some reason when I export it in Direct X format, it will load up in darkBasic (yay!), BUT it won't play.... anyone got any ideas why?

have you tried al the options at the export menu in milkshape3d.
Mine has the option [meshes, materials, animations] [dirextX8.0 export) make sure you have milkshape v1.7.0. there's a new direct x plugin. make sure you Export the animations. And use the play animation commands in Darkbasic

Well, it probably is playing, either
A) very fast
B) very slow

When you export in MS, what is your ANIMATION INTERPOLATION set at? If it is very high, then your object will play slow. Try printing the object keyframe to the screen to find out whats the deal.
