Hey all,

Damn! I'm back again for your help. I'm making a worms-typed game only in real time. Very nice and all. Already got much things working. But how do you make a 2d camera???! Because i don't think that there is a command like that. I can do something with variables.. that everything moves back when you move the player. And that the level moves back to.. But can you display a image that's bigger then the screen and goes in the -? And allright.. let say you can make a 2d camera. Can you split it.. so you can play with 2?

Thanks for any help,

The Dream Keeper!

Unfortunately if you are using the pure 2d commands in DB there is no 2d camera command. To get the effect of moving the camera as the character moves you can have a little square in the center of the screen in which the character can move without affecting the camera, then once the player tries to get the character to move outside this invisible square, you just scroll everything.

...or another way to describe it is to leave the camera where it is(in this case, the screen, because it's 2D) and move the sprites instead.

I don't think there's a way you can split the screen to have two camera images... but I'm not sure.
