hi to every1 out there. i'm just new to dark basic. I need a 3D model maker. I've come across loads of them but don't know which one is right for me. can some one please help?

p.s how would you then be able to upload an object you've created to DarkBasic? Thanks a lot!

i use AC3D which is good but doesn't animate

You can download truespace 3.2 for free, and it does pretty good.
For putting your objects in DarkBasic, use the load object command. Look it up in your manual, it's really easy to use.

Personaly I go into Darkbasic proporties and paste it into the media. Just a tip

Anyway...presonally I use 3D Studio MAX, it's really good for making 3D models, though it's a bit expensive.

If you want it free, you can use MilkShape (I haven't done even a stupid human with it, but it's very good for making characters and monsters), TrueSpace or GMax

If you don't want animated models then Wings 3D is pretty good and easy to use.

Well thats how you can put it directly where you want to within the Dark Basic media. copy...paste....copy...paste... It works for any program. That is if the program is saved in a file or rendered to something.
