Why is DarkBasic $19.99 on Amazon.com but it is $49.99 here? Is there a difference between the two programs?

Some of the reasons I've heard is because The Game Creators track shipment if you buy from them, and will guarantee that you get DarkBasic no matter what, whereas other places are not as reliable.
And the stuff at Amazon.com is probably priced so low because it's old inventory, meaning they haven't ordered from TGC in a while. So TGC might be more up to date versions and better manuals.

Okay. I was planning to get DarkBasic from TGC because of the bundle pack with DarkMatter. So I just wanted to know if there was a difference.

you could just buy the bundle pack, dbc+darkmatter, from amazon... like i did the versions won't be much different different and if they are you can always just download the free patches from the site

In the beginning, the universe was created...
This made alot of people very angry and it has been widely regarded as a bad idea...
