Hey!

I'm making an program.. but i want it that it makes an shortcut on your desktop. But because you can extract the program everywhere would including an shortcut to the .zip file an bad idea! So could you make a shortcut??

uhm... just right click on your desktop, select New, select shortcut. It'll pop up with a screen thats a shortcut wizard (or something like that) and it'll allow you to browse for the file you want... hope that helps

No, it doesn't. I don't want the USER to create the shortcut but the PROGRAM! But because you can unzip the program in any map on your computer.. i want the program to make an shortcut on the desktop on his current location. Does anyone knowes how it must be done and what i mean?

i don't think you can... i mean, there's no command to change the icon in the title bar when yer in windows mode so i doubt theres a command to make shortcuts...

not unless you set the program to write to desktop and write to allocated folder.

theres a program from [href]www.clickteam.com[/href], called install creator or install maker or somthing. its free. you make the installer for the game with that and theres an option to make a shortcut on the desktop. hope that helps. im sure theres many other programs like this as well.
