It has to be purchased separately. We're not currently affiliated with TGC, so the products are sold separately.

Also, NUCLEAR is spelt thus. "Neucular", whilst original, is not correct.

You probably confused it with Nucula, A genus of small marine bivalve shells, having a pearly interior.

What you actually mean is nuclear, Using or derived from the energy of atomic nuclei

Usage Note: The pronunciation (nky-lr), which is generally considered incorrect, is an example of how a familiar phonological pattern can influence an unfamiliar one. The usual pronunciation of the final two syllables of this word is (-kl-r), but this sequence of sounds is rare in English. Much more common is the similar sequence (-ky-lr), which occurs in words like particular, circular, spectacular, and in many scientific words like molecular, ocular, and vascular.

Hope this clears things up, and assists in your coding

Haha, thanks for clearing up that name issue BatVink.

Nicely detailed. I should refer everyone to that explanation from now on, rofl.

I feel I was being wry rather than sarcastic. I certainly did not intend to be sarcastic. I apologise if anyone thought I was.

Incidentally "serpent" is spelt with an "e" not with an "a". "Serpant" is not a word known to the English language I'm afraid.

Official documentation was never created for the 1.5 version. Mainly because it is a very simple version from back in the day (it's old, dusty, and archived)

The code in the example program(s) for the 1.5 version demonstrate everything it can do. I do believe someone made another example with it too, but that is quite dated as well.

2.00 and 1.5 are not even closely related. Version 2.00 was a complete rebuild from the ground up. Version 2.00 can do everything version 1.5 can do only it does it faster, more accurately, and the code is a lot easier to read.

All of the commands/functionality in version 2.00 are in our latest 2.03 version though.

Being that the commands of 1.5 are few and it's dated, we saw no real purpose to take the time to build documentation for it. Version 1.5 was released at a time when a collision system was a big deal and the only kid on the block so to speak. It grew in popularity rapidly and the users were just looking over the example program (which showed the few available commands) and were using it as sole reference.

The 1.5 version?

There certainly have been a lot of requests for docs for it though. I'll probably break down and make a manual for it.

Okay with the NG collision system whenever I even put StartCollisionPro() it goes into the game then comes right back out. This happens also with the tutorial. Its driving me nuts.

Just that single command bombs it out?

Does the demo program (with the racetrack) work at all?

Make sure you have the proper NGCollision.dba file included and proper NGCollision.dll file in the same folder with your EXE.

If you're working with your own models, then there's a high chance there's a problem with the model format. DB does not properly load certain models and feeds the DLL a buffer full of garbage and crashes it. This happens often with .3ds models.

Passed that I'm not sure. If you're using DBC then not many things could be causing the StartCollisionPRO() command to crash all by itself.

If none of those work, do you mind providng your system specs?

What version of DirectX do you have installed?
