i'm making an fps and how do you make the collision so that if you encounter somthing like this:

you would go up it rather than through it.

you can't use:

right?

You could just use our collision system. Then you'd be all set and rarin' to go.

How about simply elevating the matrix on a "path" one or two tiles wide ?

If you are talking about climbing a slope rather than going thru it, do this:

This will store the x- and z- positions and use them to get the ground height of the objects position. Also, you can use this in conjunction with the newxvalue and newzvalue to determine if the slope is TOO steep.

Objects with NG. It's possible with DB, if you either spend long hours working out the bugs of the commands and then writing your collision, or writing a .dll. $15 isn't too much for so nice a tool as NG.
