heya again , thanx for all you guys help so far i just have one more thing to ask. my weapons use arrays two dimensional arrays with 16 elements in and with 27 weapons this makes alot of information, i thought it would be alot easier if i could just write all the information down in a notepad text file or summin and load it into the array inside the code????

but when i tried to do that using the read command it jut came out with a load of crap

umm...you colud make a quick app that saves the info you want as an array and the load that array file into your code in your game. i think that'd work.

www.zaneproductions.tk - lots of games, no Dark basic ones though (yet)!

I think there are 'Save Array' and 'Load Array' commands which handle all the saving and reading for you. Have a look in the help file.
