2D and/or 3D RPG, FPS, Adventure, Strategy, classical game remake (final fantasy, asteroids and such)... maybe you could make an educational game (dont find many of those)

Books and movies have great game ideas. Funny, I was just talking about this subject in the gameversity thread in the general forum. Go there, get the name of the book and author and hit Amazon.com that might just be the ticket for you.
