oh boy...

Piano Forte,
The Work in progress section is only meant for games that actually have had some work done on them.

As a good rule of thumb, if your game dosent have any screen shots, its not ready for the work in progress section.

You are posting about your game way too soon.

I can hardly believe it's a vaguely interesting mmorpg, never mind a GREAT mmorpg if you haven't even started yet!

Trying is the first step towards faliure.

I love these MMORPG posts! I'm almost at the point where I can't make it through an entire day without seeing one of these. I think they post these for the comedic value.

Quote: "It Was The End Of The Bounty Hunter Wars When Hell Came Lose On All The Plants Know To Man.Uge Armys Began To Create Them Selves. Then,When All War Was Over,The Only Ones Left Was The Jedi,Sith,Bounty Hunters And Others. Now It All Has To Start Over. All States Of Liveing Had To Start Over.Who Will You Be?Jedi?Sith?Bounty Hunter?Or Will You Be Some One Else? You Deside,On: The Jedi And Sith Wars"

This post on thier webpage is hillarious.

Quote: "Then,When All War Was Over,The Only Ones Left Was The Jedi,Sith,Bounty Hunters And Others."

So basically, everyone was still left... I'm assuming that "Others" encompasses everyone that's not a Jedi, Sith or Bounty Hunter. So the war was basically a waste of time since everyone survived it.

I hope this isn't the synopsis for the MMORPG you're working on. Not only are the elements of your game trademarked and copywritten, but your plot looks like it was written by a child. If you reworked it, it would be a more solid concept. If you reinvented it using your own original universe, ideologies, factions, classes and races then you'd hurdle that copyright issue.

Your synopsis translates into this:
At the end of a war...There was a new war. So therefor the war never really ended and the first war was so disorganised that nobody lay dead or injured. Political and social structures fell apart and society broke up into hundreds of mercenary groups. You will play the role of a Jedi, Sith, Bounty Hunter or Other in a game that's boldy titled Jedi and Sith wars. (I don't see any bounty hunters or others in that title...) That's just sloppy writing...

Quote: " Timesoft - Your wife is death. How? NO idea.
But it is murder. REVENGE!!!!!!!!!"

Hands down the funniest synopsis for a game ever. All your base are belong to us!

???
darkBASIC/darkBASIC PRO?? Pro or Classic? Make up your mind!!
Oh right that's good that you mentioned that, otherwise I would've thought that you'll program it in VB
BTW you'll have 1000 servers (programmed in VB of course), 5000000000000 quests (You probably need someone to make that part cuz you actually have no idea of programming), 100000 players (that's gonna be easy with your broadband DSL connection) and big cool wars like Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (that's not too hard to make, is it?), right?
Kinda realistic concept

Is that a note of sarcasm I detect?

A word to the wise about creating MMORPGS.

If you pour a bucket of water on your keyboard, it prouces A.I code. Try it!

diet coke reakky works
I learned that on accident

Once I dreamt that I fell into a lake full of the undead and demons. I screamed and hollered as my kitten jumped into it with me. None of my friends helped me.

I don't trust them anymore.

The production studio of Baldur's gate is just a warehouse full of stacks upon stacks of expensive keyboards(produce better code) and 30 very clumsy people.

Then why do you write here? No one said you had to read this, so just ignore that thread and it will be autolocked
