There are too many RGT posts here. I know this is just starting another one, but come on, really.

I will probably be lynched for what I'm going to say next:

Is losing RGT for a little while that bad? People are moaning like it's a drug they depend on.

We have apollo! Ok, uh, lemme go get my stuff together...

But is it really necessary to everyone from there come here and open a new post treat asking "Is RGT down?", "Is RGT down again?"
Please...read some few posts b4 ask that over and over again... It makes u all look stupid. No, I'm not saying u all stupid, just makes u look like that...

Ern't it before i came in here which is an achievement
Staying at RGT was your own porogetic - no one made the choice for you ... right now you're doin' exactly what you didn't want to but it is still your choice to join in here

Gotta say Mirth really has made a good point, you're here by choice and this is the Official forum of DBS and DarkBasic within the UK (which is where DBS are from )
No one is forcing you to use these forums, so stop crying about RGT - geez!

Is losing RGT for a little while that bad?

Yes, I'm afraid it is.

I always like to code, then post up a screen and get a response within about 1/2 an hour. I think if this forum had a picture upload, then that could soften the blow but for now I'm afraid I just like RGT a little better.

Oh, and I have always been a member here, I just started coming here more often when RGT was down. To quote dannywartnaby:

"I am a member of the AA, but Ii don't call them every week. Does that mean I am not a member?"

Stink: You're right, all this anti-RGT behaviour has spoilt the atmosphere.

I love Star Trek.
Especially the Episodes with Starships in.

Dave... look the point is, whether you like it or not - RGT is|was down.

Now you're welcome to come here and use this forums, however... and this is a biggie.
We are not expecting every RGT member, and those who are active here but obviously prefer RGT - to run around acting like the members here who are here all the time don't matter. And that they seem to have the right to just barge in and do as and what they please.

It isn't tollerated from a Newbie who tries it, so why should it be any different for those who are technically members!

As I've noted the AA is an Automobile Repair Service... You pay for it, in the hopes NOT to use it.
The forum is a FREE service which is provided to be used by the members who wish to.

But even in the AA if you're Repairman is say an hour late, it is not tollerated that your shout abuse at him - because he is allowed the right to just get back in his van and drive away.

You just as other members who post here have changed considerably in your attitudes towards this forum and its members since the RGT regulars got bored over that weekend.

If you want a place to hangout where you can act like you did in RGT then there are many free online providers and BB templates that you can setup in minutes.
If you do CHOOSE to remain here then please respect that this isn't the forum for RGT members only, and I believe all the members here were extremely patient with the way you all just bundled in and decided to act like you own'd the place.

If none of you can understand that by Guest or Visitor is means that you're not someone who reguarly visits this place or contributes, then I do feel sorry for you!

As it was noted by Raps ... its like two houses withn the DarkBasic Compound. Each have its own set of rules for everyone to go by. If RGT is down then you're welcome to come in use the place, but when you start to set things alite just for your own amusement and turn sections of the house into RGT territory. I think our hospitality is being taken advantage of well as truely.

Enough irony now.

You're making it sound as if there actually was someone to which these belonged(xcept for Rich or his host) well let me tell you it's not the case...This is the web and as long as people maintain politeness and respect, they're allowed any behavior(especially here from what I've seen.)

"

Then jump in your van and drive away then !! ... NO one is stopping you.

Now you're just posting and posting and posting, until people listen to you and say "OK, you're right" When to be honest... the more you keep posting the same old reaction to the RGT members being here.... the more they won't listen.

And I've never know anyone Contradict himself as much as you do.

It's not your personal realm here, with your personal rules... we all have our own personal opinions and our own personalities, so just let people be themselfs instead of constantly trying to make them be like you want them to be.

You insited a flame war... and got one. You now keep trying to get your point across, but not everyone want to listen to your point.... and thats whats so good about the human race - we all have the CHOICE to listen to others or not.

You speak about attitudes.... when your own attitude is >> if you say a wheel should be square and not round, then you will go on and on and on until everyone agrees with you.

If everybody agreed with just one person all of the time then i'll hate to think what this world would be like right now. (chugging around on square wheeled bicycles mumbling to himself.. "I'm right, I know i'm right ) !!!

i'm not being run out of another forum just because of people like you simple

no there is no technical ownership here ... but there is a definate lack of respect from those who are only here because they feel they have no where else.

I'm sorry but I find it hard to open with welcome arms people who start by thinking that it is big and clever to trying showing me up whilst i'm not even here!

This has all got a little out of hand now, and should have just been contained to my own post rather than all these spill overs ... my bad

The point here isn't to be right or wrong ... the point is that people actually listen to the POINT!
Which its quite obvious that most arn't

Its a pitty that Rich isn't around alot at the moment, because i'd talk to him about all this.
But the RGT members are taking way to many liberties that if they were newbies everyone would complain about and run them out. But because you're all such old members it gives you immunity?
Somehow i don't think so, and if you gave the same respect over at the RGT forums you'd all receive emails from Guy warning you about your actions.

The fact that its more free here has been quite widely abused - and yeah before anyone mentions the irony here about using the same stuff to try and sort it, but the facts remain.

You guys are bored, and I can appreciete this - but FGS shutup about it or post your complaint when you get RGT back. If you don't like the community why the hell are you here?

Perhaps it isn't clear what you've actually all been doin' since jumping here.

There was Masked a few weeks ago, he came here to show off his Bike demo - which the link was broken, but I'd downloaded from RGT.
He was all upity about no one downloading the demo, or rather commenting ... if you don't check links then isn't our fault.
I mentioned it as soon as I tried it. But there was no need to have such an attitude about it.

There was also another incident within a recent post about Car Physics, where I was quite rudely insulted as for some reason he got it into his head that I was calling his physics bad.
The only thing that could really have been construde as bad about it was fact that I said he wasn't using Vectors and it makes Gravity hard to code and stopping also buggy because it used seperate calculations for all axis.
There was no call for the reply i received.

Then there is Dead Glory who has started several posts which, quite frankly i'm unsure to why THEY haven't become flamebait ... and he replies to alot of posts have also been extreme rude. I've had ALOT of complaints about how he has been acting.

Simple ... is well there is nothing to tell there. However it is clear that whatever is posted by Simple there are two others who have been extremely fun to be around seem right now to have the biggest problem with me, and anyone else who gets in the line of fire.

David89 has has a little posts here and there for weeks, mainly old news from RGT ... and I mean REALLY old because some of it was from before when i was kicked.
There hasn't been much trouble until the RGT members have come over.

There are some members i've either never or seen very few posts from before. Who seem just come in here to add thier 2cents and bugger off again.

Yes I have singled a few of people out here... but this is my point. Usually it is alot of fun here, posts are friendly in nature and everyone normally gets on - even in an argument there is no kinda of rivalry, not "oh you did this to me" - no because they're more debates, which are kinda interesting to all.
The recent Amiga stuff for example has been not only nostaglic but also alot of interesting information comming out of it all.

Also this isnt the place for hundreds of post about RGT down and then up again!
Froggerman made the original Post about RGT ... USE THAT!

There has been no netiquette towards any of the members here, more the old RGT members who are obviously piss'd at something comming here and bringing up old grudges that quite frankly I'm sick of

I'm not going to forgive and forget anything that Simple has done ... there is no point in apologies he should just stick his nose in other people buinesses from now on.
Quite forthright I hate the guy.
And no ammount of hippie love crap will change that!

But i don't mind him being here, even if I was a moderator or anything i wouldn't kick him cause of not likeing him because he is entitled to be here.
THERE was no call for HOW he came here thou.

I don't give two craps if he is some kinda of god to the mindless zombies at RGT ... to me he hasn't earnt the skill and respect to sit there and comment on what should and shouldn't be done. Especially taking exactly what i said about the model myself and then making some quite snide comments.

He knew it wasn't welcome and that it wasn't going to taken well - and the backup he received on his words was also VERY uncalled for.
Yet ya'll egged him on about it... now ya'll trying to take the high road.

I mean FGS ... atleast I do have an excuse here, I am still quite immature - maybe more mature than most guys my age, but immature none the less!
From what i could figure Simple is actually suppose to be a mature grown adult ... how many mature adults do you know who pick on youngsters like that geez!

Yup there we go probably another low blow - but at this point this is all is just beyond a joke.
I dunno why those who DON'T want to be here just leave... or is picking on people about half your age too damn'd fun?

And Actarus before you go off on another, I don't wanna leave crap - it isn't aim'd at you here, because it is obvious you want to be here.

Simple and DG obviously don't as they never visit or post and it has only been the last few days that they have.
They're here by choice, I certainly as hell wouldn't strong arm them into here ... there is a door, and it would be kind of them to use it

Anata aru kowagaru no watashi!
