I'm sure you're excited about your idea, but a post like this does nothing!! no details about the game, and worse, no screenshots/ concept drawings, etc.

please read the following thread:

FPS, shoot em up, whatever, starts from a good idea and a good skill to coding, sound, modelling, 2d graphics.
Sideways to think an alternative system to make games, drive you in a big hole in the water.
Or Dark Serpent think he is a new Andy Warhols of the computer games?

Hi Dark Serpent,

Threads posted in this forum *must* include something of your game for people to see - ie. Screenshots, source or executables.

Threads like this will probably get deleted.

I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but otherwise the forum will become clogged up with rubbish.

don't set the FPS back, make timer based movement so you can control the timer to affect the speed and keep the same FPS.

Ok, seeming you have told us nothing about your game except that we should prepare for something special.
Why don't you tell us how much you have done, how much code, media etc. You won't give away any details other than we know roughly how long to wait.

or you could have a variable called gamespeed. so everyhting will move at gamespeed and if you press a key to slow down time, lower the variable gamespeed

I found out its not that special. I fixed the problem. I didnt intend to give any info on the game...sory I stink at coding so even with my new feature I probably wont be able to finish the FPS. Look in the DBP forums for my questions. There is no more need to post in this threed. I dont want to dissapoint anyone with my infeirier ideas. I cant wait to see your 5 genre game Red_Eye.
