I am back in the USA. I have a new server up and running for me to play with. I am having a bad time getting a dark basic game to run in real time on the server so people can play or watch it. Anyone want to help me figure out how to solve the problem. I will even put your game on it, if you want it there if somebody can help me get the glitch fixed.

the web-link button does not seem to be working properly. I get a message that your website is undercontruction or something.
Clicking the embedded link does connect me to a website, but not all options on that website are functional.

Alas, I did not try your game, I was wanting more information first. Have you gotten any takers or locate the problem yet?
What kind of server are you running? Is it a windows server thats running an actual DB app or is the actual game hosted on a regular PC with a static IP that all clients would then connect to? Sorry, I do not blindly try out .exe without knowing exactly what I'm trying to do. Also, you might try giving "perks" to playtesters, you'll get alot more responces ....

About the servers, they are windows based with dns switches, running 2.4 gig with really really big hard drives. We have 6 new ones about to go online and 3 older ones being phased out. I am playing with a new one at the moment. Our old url www.uksoft.org is now being phased out and I am sure that was the first one you tried and we are now using the planetdns urls.

Anyway back to what I need help with. I am trying to learn how to install running dbc games on server side so users can play them. I am a fairly good java, and vbs encoder but everything I done in the past was to stop exe from running in servers, needless to say I am totally lost. I looked at your website and I am guessing you know how to do this, or can recommend someone that does. So I ask will you help, I will be glad to host some of your games on the server if you do or we can swap code or something. Anyway I need help and no one has come foward to help except you.

P.S. We are about to start delivering screen shots and code of our game we are building in the team request section, I know were moving slow but we have been doing a lot of testing hybrid codes and we stated up front it wasn't going to be a short term project. Just a few more glitches to solve and some other stuff and we will start posting it.

I think a mod should lock this topic soon as it belongs in the team request area. I'll keep my replies in that spot for now.
